About This Study

This clinical research study is evaluating an investigational treatment for adults with gout who have not achieved adequate control with current therapies. The study medication aims to lower uric acid levels more effectively, potentially reducing the frequency and severity of gout flares.

What is Gout?

Gout is a form of inflammatory arthritis caused by the buildup of uric acid crystals in the joints. It typically causes sudden, severe attacks of pain, swelling, and redness—often affecting the big toe first. Without proper management, gout can lead to chronic joint damage and significantly impact quality of life.
